Joann L. (Bishop) Stubby

Joann L. (Bishop) Stubby, 88, of Salina, was called home Monday, December 21, 2020. She was born August 21, 1932, to the late George and Alice Bishop. She was employed at Asbury Hospital, for 19 years, Salina Presbyterian Manor, for 14 years and Weber Palmer Macy Laboratory as a cytologist aide, for five years. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Salina.

She is survived by her children, Vicky and husband Mike Wiebke, of Ellsworth, Rita and husband Tim Dugger, of Salina, Jim Stubby, of Beverly; two step grandchildren, Heather (Tatro) McClure, of Tescott and Dakotah Eidet, of Gypsum; four step great grandchildren and lots of other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jack; and infant daughter Cindy Sue Stubby.

Her celebration of life will be held at a later date. Burial will be private at Gypsum Cemetery, Gypsum.
