In 1918, brothers Eric and Ernest Lagerberg moved from Kansas City to Salina. They moved to Salina to open a tailoring shop, Lagerberg Brothers Tailors.

From their shop at 125 S. Santa, the space currently occupied by Campbell Plaza, they provided custom-made clothes for many residents of Salina.
