Saline County Emergency Management
Saline County Emergency Management had previously paused adding names to the list for chainsaw team assistance due to resource constraints, but the list is now open again. Chainsaw teams are actively assisting with limb and debris cleanup across the county. If your home requires this service, please call Saline County Emergency Management at 785.826.6511 to be added to the list.
If your home is already on the list and you no longer require assistance, please call to have your name removed. This will help allocate resources more efficiently to those still in need.
Over 100 homes are on the list for this service. Due to the high demand and limited resources, it will take time to reach everyone. Teams consist entirely of volunteers and are working not only in Saline County but also in other affected areas of Kansas and Nebraska.
Saline County officials remind residents that workers and volunteers are doing their best with the available resources. We understand the frustration of extended wait times, and we ask for your patience and respect as teams continue working in our community.
