CHARLOTTE, NC - For the second time this season and second time in her career, Cloud County Community College sophomore cross country runner Patricia Koma has been named the NJCAA Division I Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week.
The award comes following Koma's performance at the 2020 University of Nebraska-Kearney Invitational where the Wichita, Kansas native took third overall and finished as the top junior college runner with a time of 19:04.40. Koma's performance was a season-best in a 5K race this year, besting her old time by nearly 30 seconds while beating the next closest junior college opponent by five seconds.
