A family-owned movie theatre chain based in Missouri has plans to bring its regional presence to Salina.
B&B Theatres (Bills and Bagby) has announced that after talks with Salina 2020 and the Alley Entertainment Center, the theatre chain plans to partner with the two to add nine state-of-the-art cinema screens and Sterling's.
According to the theatre chain, B&B's signature restaurant and bar concept will be alongside The Alley’s bowling, arcade, and upgraded laser tag attractions. The nine cinema screens will feature two Grand Screen auditoriums, ScreenX and 4DX premium formats.
B&B confirmed that the project will seek local and state economic development incentives intended to offset a portion of the project costs.
If the incentives are approved, construction is anticipated to begin following planning and development approvals, with the new entertainment center targeted to open in 2028.
Additional details regarding design, construction timelines, and future amenities will be shared as development progresses.
