Kansas Wesleyan Men's Soccer could not find a goal late as the Coyotes fell to the Tabor Bluejays 2-1 on Wednesday at JRI Hospitality Stadium at the Graves Family Sports Complex.

The Coyotes had an early lead as Juan Manuel Lozada Leon scored in the 11th minute off a pass from Jose Valdez, but the Coyotes could not find any additional tallies in the match.

Wesleyan had a chance to score in the 20th minute but Valdez's shot would hit the post.

Tabor got the equalizer in the 33rd minute by Martin Marinakis.

The Bluejays took the lead in a goal by Ronan Hugo in the 69th minute.

KWU had a chance to equalize in the 73rd, but Lozada's initial shot was blocked and then Valdez's follow would be saved.

KWU had another chance in the 88th on three consecutive corners, but a header by Linus Polster on the third would miss high.

The Coyotes had one last chance in the waning seconds of the match on another set piece but could not get a shot off.

KWU outshot Tabor 14-8 in the match, led by five shots by Valdez.
