The Ark Church is seeking volunteers for "Serve Day" to give back to the community of Salina.
Every year, the church puts together Serve Day and a large number of volunteers sign up to contribute across various areas in Salina.
Tasks include repair work, clearing debris, building renovations, painting, organizing and sorting facilities, landscaping and much more.
Last year, there were about 400 volunteers who showed up and completed a full morning and afternoon of service work.
Volunteers will need to sign up and arrive at The Ark Church (2020 S. Ohio St) at 8:00 am on Saturday, July 18.
How to sign up:
- Download the "Serve" app on either the Apple Store or Google Play.
- Search "The Ark Church"
- Click on "All Events"
- Scroll to find and choose a project.
