
Cheryl Ann Sulkosky, age 78, passed away on Friday, June 6, 2025, at Belleville Healthcare & Rehab, Belleville, KS. She was born on February 13, 1947, in Concordia, Kansas to Amos P. and Rosella B. (Lanoue) Hebert.
She was a 1965 graduate of Notre Dame High School, Concordia, Kansas. She later received her RN degree from Saint Francis School of Nursing on June 16, 1968.
Cheryl married Michael R. Sulkosky on October 26, 1977, at St Peters Catholic Church. She and Michael made their home in Puyallup, WA. He preceded her in death on Oct. 24, 198
She worked as an RN in various nursing homes and hospitals. She returned to Concordia in the early 2000’s to help her mother.
Cheryl was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Concordia and a member of All Saints Catholic Church while living in Puyallup, WA. She also was a member of the St Joesph Hospital Auxiliary, Daughter’s of the VFW, and an avid volunteer at Neighbor to Neighbor.
Cheryl loved to read, bake, knit, and quilt. She also had a huge heart for animals and was known to take in one when they needed care. She saw the good in everyone and was willing to lend a hand when needed. Most of all Cheryl loved to spend time and care for her family and friends.
Cheryl is survived by her children, Rose Sulkosky, Concordia, Rita Sulkosky, Tucson, AZ & Jared Sulkosky, Puyallup, WA.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael, her parents Amos & Rosella and her brother, Dennis Hebert.
Visitation will be held from 9-11 am, with a Rosary service at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 16, 2025, all at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Concordia, Kansas. Family will receive friends after the Rosary.
A Mass of a Christian burial will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, June 16, 2025, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Concordia, Kansas with Fr. Joseph Kieffer and Fr. Ryan McCandless officiating.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 23, 2025, in Woodbine Cemetery, Puyallup, WA.
