The American Red Cross Pillowcase Project is going virtual.
The Pillowcase Project is a free preparedness program for children in grades 3 through 5. The program aims to increase awareness and understanding of natural hazards and teach safety and emotional coping skills, as well as preparedness.
The program is scheduled for 4 p.m. Thursday. Additional classes will be held on Thursdays in July and August, using Microsoft Teams.
Sign-up your 3rd through 5th graders now. Each child needs to have a computer with internet access. If you sign-up, an email with additional instructions will be sent to you, according to information from the American Red Cross. Please email [email protected] to register.
