Saline County has closed part of a road in far southern Saline County for drainage work.
The Saline County Road and Bridge Department announced today that S. Kipp Road between Coronado Heights Road and Rose Hill Road was closed to traffic today for the replacement of a drainage structure. Weather permitting the roadway should be opened by Friday.
Drivers are asked to find alternate routes around the project area. Local and emergency traffic will be provided access to private property within the sections of closed road at all times, but only from the side upon which the property lies, the department noted.
