After the public meet & greet and closed interviews with the Salina City Commission, the decision on a new City Manager is still pending.
The decision on the fulfillment of the City Manager position for Salina has yet to be announced. Finalists Jacob Wood, Darrin Tangeman and Michael Tremblay each made an appearance at the public meet & greet that took place at the Stiefel Theatre on Monday, August 11.
According to the Human Resources Director for the City of Salina, Natalie Fischer, after closed interviews the Commissioners conducted with the finalists on Tuesday, August 12th, no decision was made.
Fischer mentioned City of Salina staff are currently awaiting a decision from the Commissioners.
Fischer is unsure of the Commissioner's timeline on a decision.
