ABILENE - Employees of Memorial Health System (MHS) wore blue jeans at work for another Jeans Day fundraiser on Fridays throughout the month of December.
Employees make a donation of at least $5, and are allowed to wear blue jeans at work.
A total donation of $824 was presented to Catholic Charities of Northern Kansas. Their mission is to provide compassionate service to all people in need throughout northern Kansas (including Dickinson County). They do this in a variety of ways: financial and housing assistance, counseling services, immigration legal services, pregnancy support and adoption services, disaster relief, and basic needs – food, hygiene, diapers, and clothing.
The monthly Jeans Day fundraiser is organized by the MHS Employer of Choice (EOC) committee.
