Verna Eileen Altman Tombaugh passed away Monday, January 4, 2021.&nbsp; She was born October 19, 1923 to Royal and Hazel Hills in Milo, Kansas.&nbsp;&nbsp;

She is predeceased by Leonard Altman and survived by her children Deanna Gray, Kathy Kintz, and Ron Altman as well as her sister Flo Nelson.

She is also predeceased by Robert Tombaugh and survived by his children Mary Ann Kershaw and Doug Tombaugh.&nbsp; She has a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.&nbsp;

Verna graduated from Ada High School and Asbury School of Nursing.&nbsp; She was a homemaker and did private duty nursing.&nbsp; She worked in nursing home care at Windsor Estates.&nbsp; She contributed many hours of service at University Methodist Church.

A private family celebration of her life will be Friday, January 8 at Roselawn Heights Memorial Chapel, followed by funeral service for close family and friends at 1:00pm at the University United Methodist Church, 1509 S, Santa Fe, Salina.&nbsp; Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park, Salina.

The funeral service for those unable to attend will be live streamed at facebook.com/uumcsalina.
