The City of Salina has announced the promotion of Brett Lamer to deputy parks and recreation director.
Lamer had been serving as parks operation manager since September 2017, according to a post on the city Facebook page.
“Following a national search and selection process, Brett emerged as our top candidate. Brett is well rounded and experienced with park maintenance, managing budgets, projects and overall knowledge of the administration of the Parks and Recreation department. We are excited to have Brett continue his professional journey within our organization,” Jeff Hammond, director of parks and recreation, said.
