LAWRENCE, Kan. – Kansas Baseball's historic 2026 season came to an end after a 13-2 loss to Oklahoma in the Lawrence Super Regional. Kansas finished the year by tying the school record with 45 wins and hosting the first ever Lawrence Regional and Lawrence Super Regional.
The Jayhawks were selected to a second consecutive NCAA Tournament for only the second time in program history. KU set school records in conference wins, road/neutral wins, home runs and pitching strikeouts this year.
"An incredible last few weeks of hosting a regional and then a super regional. I'm really proud of these guys. I could break down this game and the things that went wrong yesterday and today, but I just told them after the game that I'm incredibly proud of them. We've brought this program to a pretty special place and it's because of who they are as baseball players, but way more who they are as men. I couldn't be more proud of them and my only regret is that we don't get to play more baseball together because they're a special group."

QUOTABLES & NOTABLES
"We've come a long way in a short amount of time. I think back to four years ago, almost four years on the dot. I don't think I would have said we are going to win the Big 12 regular season, win the conference tournament, host a regional, win the toughest regional in the NCAA Tournament and then host a super regional. That would not have been something that I predicted would happen in four years. We've come through a lot of hard work and incredible support from our administration, my assistants and then, obviously, the players are the ones who have done it. The next step is sustainability, just like last year, the step of sustainability to be in the NCAA Tournament." – Head Coach Dan Fitzgerald•
Kansas finished the season with a 45-18 overall record.• Kansas tied the school record from 1993 with 45 wins.• Kansas ended the year with 112 home runs, a new school record.• LeBlanc hit his 25th home run of the season to extend his single-season record.
