Paul Norman "Buz" Livengood

  Paul Norman "Buz" Livengood, 77, of Smolan, Kansas, passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on Saturday, January 2nd, 2021, of Covid-19 and Pneumonia.

Buz was born in Manhattan, Kansas on April 27, 1943, a son of the late Phyllis Edith (Cowen) and Norman Christopher Livengood.

He owned and operated Livengood Transmission for 42 years and A&A Towing for 25 years. He retired in November 2020.

He was also a member of the NRA, Tappan Hill BPCR, Salina Blue Lodge #60, Scottish Rite, Knights Templar, York Rite, Red Cross Constantine, Odd Fellows, and the Patriot Guard.

Survivors include his wife, Kricket Anderson; sons, Paul Livengood II, (Brenda) of Wichita, Kansas, Christopher Livengood, of Salina, Kansas; and brother, Phillip Livengood, (Donna) of Hays, Kansas.

He is also survived by 3 grandchildren, Amber Bailey (Brett), Chase Livengood (Rosa), Madison Livengood; 3 great grandchildren, Owen, Brilee, and Lynzee Bailey.

Buz is preceded in death by his sister, Connie Jo Livengood; previous wives, Deb Glazier Livengood and Linda Livengood.

Cremation has been chosen and a service will be announced at a later date.
