The Saline County Sheriff's Office is investigating the theft of multiple items from a farm east of Salina.
Sometime between Friday and Sunday afternoon, someone broke into a large storage shed owned by Robert Pace, 77, in the 300 block of South Cunningham Road, and stole multiple items from a room inside the shed, Saline County Sheriff Roger Soldan said this morning.
The items, belonging to Matthew Picking, 51, of Abilene, who works for Pace, included the following, Soldan said.
A Harbor Freight welder valued at $75
A Harbor Freight welding helmet valued at $50
A set of ratcheting wrenches valued at $50
A black air compressor valued at $50
Additionally, $50 worth of damage was done to the shed during the burglary, he added.
