A wind chill watch has been issued for additional counties in our area.
The National Weather Service in Wichita has issued a wind chill watch in effect from late Wednesday night through Friday morning for the following counties in our area.
Ellsworth County
Lincoln County
Marion County
McPherson County
Saline County
Dangerously cold wind chills are possible. Wind chills as low as 35 below zero are forecast.
The dangerously cold wind chills could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 10 minutes.
