OTTAWA COUNTY—A Kansas woman was injured in an accident just after 4:30 p.m. Wednesday in Ottawa County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2014 Buick Enclave driven by Bonnie I. Strutt, 75, Lincoln, was westbound on Kansas 18 six miles east of Tescott.
The driver failed to slow and rear-ended a westbound 2020 Chevy Silverado driven by Austen D. Huehl, 18, Salina, who had slowed to turn onto North 90th Road.
EMS transported Strutt to Salina Regional Health Center. Huehl and a passenger were not injured. All three were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
