The annual barbecue by the Saline County Sheriff's Office will be held to raise funds for a local Special Olympics team.
Saline County Arc Blue Thunder is a Special Olympics team in town. They provide sports training, competitions, and community events for local athletes. They rely on community support and annual fundraisers.
The team participates in a variety of sports at the regional and state levels, including the Special Olympics State Games.
The funds will be used for travel and incidentals.
The barbecue and fundraiser will be on August 6th and 7th from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm at the Saline County 4-H Building (900 Greeley).
Attendees can enjoy hot dogs, hamburgers, nachos and a variety of other goodies.
The cost is $7.00 to attend, and donations can be made if others are willing.
