On November 13, 2024, deputies responded to the 4900 block of East North Street in Saline County following reports of a burglary and vehicle theft.

Authorities believe that sometime during the morning hours, suspect(s) entered a residence and an outbuilding on the property. Stolen items included a Walther PP22 handgun and a white 1991 Jeep Renegade with a black top. The total estimated loss exceeds $5,300.
