Peabody -  Tammie Jo Suffield, 62, passed from this life on February 27, 2022. She was born to Fred Harvey and Colleen B (Regier) Yoder on August 11, 1959 in Newton.

Tammie was united in marriage to Edwin “Butch” Suffield on June 14, 2008.

Tammie was a lover of all animals. She and Butch enjoyed life together on their Peabody farm raising cows, chickens, horses, guineas, and an occasional goose. She had a special love for her dogs and cats that were her special family.

She worked as a CNA at Peabody Health and Rehab for many years. Her greatest joy was seeing the residents daily enjoying the best life they could.

Tammie leaves to mourn her passing her husband Butch Suffield, son DuWayne Suffield and wife Jodi, two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, sister Teresa Maples, sisters-in-law Wilma Hypsha, Juanita Birkle, Linda Olsen (Harold), Koni Yoder, brother-in-law Roger Hett, many nieces, nephews, great-nephews and nieces and a host of friends and neighbors.

Tammie was preceded in death by her parents Fred and Colleen Yoder and brother Glenn Yoder.

Services will be March 12, 2022 at Peabody United Methodist Church at 11 am.
