Wind advisories have been issued for most counties in our area for Tuesday.
The National Weather Service in Wichita has issued a wind advisory in effect from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Tuesday for the following counties in our area.
Ellsworth County
Lincoln County
South winds at 25 to 35 mph, with gusts up to 55 mph, are expected.
Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and scattered power outages may result. Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high profile vehicle.
There is the potential for stronger wind gusts in excess of 55 mph to occur. Please stay tuned in case a high wind warning is later issued, the weather service noted.
