WBB: K-State, West Virginia Meet in Big 12 Quarters

KANSAS CITY, Missouri - (20/19) K-State (26-6), the 5-seed, will face 4-seed West Virginia (23-6), in the quarterfinals of the 2025 Phillips 66 Big 12 Women’s Basketball Championship on Friday at 11 a.m., at T-Mobile Center.

• With a win on Friday, K-State would secure the third-highest single season win total in program history. K-State’s 26 wins are the most since the 2002-03 season, when the Wildcats set the school record with 29 wins.

• Friday’s game will air on ESPNU, as Eric Frede (play-by-play) and Christy Thomaskutty (analyst) will have the call.

1. Wildcats in the Big 12 Championships

• K-State is 24-27 in the Phillips 66 Big 12 Women’s Basketball Championships and have advanced at least one round in 21 of 28 championships.

2. K-State Sets School Blocks Record

• K-State has broken the school record for blocks in a season with its 179. K-State established the previous record of 178 in the 2023-24 season.

• All-America candidate and 2025 All-Big 12 First Team selection Serena Sundell needs six assists to set the school record for assists in a season. Her total of 224 is a career-high.
