Salina Area United Way
Salina Area United Way is honoring the life and service of longtime Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) volunteer Phil Bowman, who dedicated more than 12 years to helping local families navigate tax season through VITA.
Out of respect, VITA Intake will be closed on Monday, February 23.
All scheduled morning appointments will be rescheduled, and the United Way office will reopen at 1:00 pm.
Staff and volunteers will be attending his funeral to pay their respects.
“Phil’s commitment to serving others made a lasting impact on our community,” said Christina Small, Executive Director of Salina Area United Way. “We are incredibly grateful for his years of dedication.”
