Jeanene Ellen Brown, 88, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Sunday, January 16, 2022.
Jeanene was born in Beaver Crossing, Nebraska on September 6, 1933, a daughter of the late Ruth (Hickerson) and Charles Gentry.
Survivors include her daughter Sherri Turnbough (Bruce) of Kansas City, Missouri; son Kevin Brown (Alice), of Salina, Kansas; five grandchildren Emily Brown, Michael Brown, Keith Brown (Sara), Andrew Brown (Jessie), Garrett Brown; ten great-grandchildren, Judah, Joel, Annie, Caige, Carter, Devyn, Ezra, Madison, Rylee, Isabelle; numerous nieces; and two sisters, Evelyn Blasky, of Lincoln, Nebraska and Karen Gentry, of Lincoln, Nebraska.
She is preceded in death by her son Michael Brown; brothers Richard Gentry, Charles Gentry, and Robert Gentry.
Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 21 at Lauber Funeral Home, 814 Maple Street, Friend, Nebraska.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 21, at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at Beaver Crossing Cemetery, Beaver Crossing, Nebraska.
