David C. Ellis, 79, of Manhattan, formerly of Salina, passed away Monday, July 18, 2022. He was born April 6, 1943 in Guthrie, Oklahoma, to Roy M. and Lorene G. (Williams) Ellis.
Dave was a cowboy all his life, he rode bulls and broncs in rodeos and raised cattle, was a horse trainer and farrier. He was a member of American Farrier Association and American Legion.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Glenna Sue Ellis; and sisters Delores Cole and Francis Corbin.
He is survived by his daughter Constance R. Ellis, of Manhattan.
Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, July 21, in Greenville Cemetery, Niles.
