Police are investigating multiple instances of shots fired in an east Salina neighborhood Wednesday night.

Salina Police Captain Paul Forrester reported this morning that officers were sent to the 2400 block of Pheasant Lane shortly before 11 p.m. Wednesday for multiple reports of shots fired. When they arrived, they located a 2019 Ford F150 and an 2003 Buick Rendezvous with bullet holes in the back windshields.

Additionally, two of the residents told police that a bullet had gone through a front door, one struck the Ring doorbell, and a large double window next to the entrance had two bullet holes. The residence was occupied by three people at the time of the incident. No one was injured.

In total, approximately nine rounds struck the house and the vehicles. Total estimated damage was $3,700, Forrester noted.

The victims all were women, ages 67, 47, and 22, he added.
