The Salina community will gather on September 11, 2024, to honor the lives lost and affected by the tragic events of September 11, 2001. A special memorial event, "A Night of Remembrance," will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Great Life Salina, located at 1800 S. Marymount Road.

The event will pay tribute to the first responders, civilians, and military personnel who bravely responded to the attacks. Attendees will have the opportunity to reflect on the nearly 3,000 lives lost and honor the survivors, their families, and the heroes who selflessly risked their own lives to save others.

Local musician Tony Bowell will provide live music, creating a poignant atmosphere for reflection and unity. Food will be generously donated by Martinelli's Little Italy to attendees.
