KHP reminds drivers to make sure no one gets left in hot vehicle

It’s hot and just getting hotter! With temperatures rising to triple digits across Kansas this week, it’s important to remember that heatstroke deaths are preventable. You can do your part in keeping your loved ones safe by:

• NEVER leaving a child in a vehicle unattended.

• Making it a habit to look in the back seat EVERY time you exit the car.

• ALWAYS locking the car and putting the keys out of reach.
