
Alice C. Goddard, age 75, of Jamestown, KS, passed away on Sep 4, 2025. She was born on March 11, 1950, in Concordia, KS to Clifford Francis & Edith Luella Emma (Currie) Sallman.
She graduated from Concordia High School in 1969. She later graduated from Cloud County Community College with a degree in Nursing.
She married Chuck Streeter, and they had 2 sons, Justin & Derek. She later married Ronald Goddard in 1978 and had a daughter, Molly. He preceded her in 2015.
Alice worked as an RN for St. Joseph Hospital, Cloud County Health Center and later Park Villa Nursing Home and Beverly Healthcare. Nursing and helping people was her passion, starting as a candy striper. She taught many CNA classes during her tenure. She retired in 2012 from Cloud County Health Center.
She was an avid quilter and enjoyed tatting, jewelry design, writing poetry, and operated her own T-Shirt business for some time. She loved to dance, watch old westerns and America’s Got Talent. Her grandchildren were the love of her life and brought her joy on a daily basis. She could always lighten the mood with her unique sense of humor.
She is survived by her children, Justin Streeter (Christy), El Dorado, KS; Derek Streeter (Kari), KC, KS & daughter, Molly Thoman (Jarod), Jamestown, KS; sisters, Phyllis Shanks, Marilyn Lowell (Rodney “RJ”), Fran Trost (Larry) all of Concordia and Ruth Gardner, Topeka; brother in law, Bill Valcoure (Lisa), Concordia; 11 grandchildren & 3 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded by her husband, Ronald Goddard; her parents; sisters, Judy Valcoure & Iris Lee; brothers in law, Bob Shanks & Bob Lee; grandson, Addai Dexter Streeter & nephew, Brian Valcoure.
Funeral services will be 10:00 am, Tuesday Sep 9th at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, Concordia with Jason Grogan officiating. Burial will follow at the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Norway, KS. Visitation is Monday Sep 8th from 1-8 pm with the family greeting friends from 6-7 pm all at the funeral home.
