Hillsboro - Elvira Plett, 89, died December 3, 2020 at Comfort Homes in Newton. She was born June 13, 1931 in Marion, South Dakota to Martin and Helen (Epp) Kroeker.
She married David Plett June 5, 1951 in Marion, South Dakota.
Survivors include: husband, Dave Plett of Newton; daughters, Cindy Vix of Olathe, Norine Plett of Newton, Bev Plett of Hillsboro, Brenda (Paul) Rust of Elbing; brother, Orlando (Rosita) Kroeker of Lenexa; 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Predeceased by: 7 siblings; grandson, Seth David Rust in 1998.
Graveside service Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. at Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church cemetery in Hillsboro led by Garvie Schmidt.
