Kansas Wesleyan Men's Tennis picked up a 6-1 win over the Oklahoma Wesleyan Eagles on Friday at Genesis Health Club's indoor tennis courts.
The match was moved indoors due to inclement weather in Salina.
The Eagles got their only point of the day by winning the doubles point, winning two of three matches. KWU's win came as Paul Jittawait and Gavin Chavez beat Nathan Bartlett and Owen Harrison 6-4. OKWU got wins as Richand Hoyte and Preston Callahan beat Adam Hanson and Luke Craft 6-4; and Manuel Espinal and Raphael Alvado beat Raul Davalos-Gavino and Jacob Phelps 7-5.
KWU would win all six singles matches.
Davalos-Gavino beat Alvado 6-0, 6-0; Adam Hanson beat Hoyte 4-6, 6-4, 6-4; Jacob Phelps beat Espinal 6-0, 6-3; Craft beat Callahan 6-2, 6-3; Jack Hanson beat Bartlett 6-2, 7-5; and Chavez beat Harrison 6-1, 6-4.
