A Salina man wanted on two active warrants now also faces requested drug charges after his arrest Saturday afternoon.
Salina Police Captain Paul Forrester said this morning that officers were sent to the Ambassy Motel, 217 S. Broadway Boulevard, at approximately 3:45 p.m. Saturday. There they made contact at a room with Allen Marlow, Jr., 28, of Salina, who had active warrants from Saline County District Court and an outside agency.
Marlow allegedly opened the door just enough to talk through and then tried to shut the door, however officers were able to get the door open and make their way inside to arrest Marlow, Forrester said.
Marlow allegedly was found to be in possession of a meth pipe, and a little more than a gram of methamphetamine allegedly was located in the room.
Forrester said that in addition to the warrants, Marlow was arrested on the following requested charges.
●Possession of methamphetamine
●No drug tax stamp
●Possession of drug paraphernalia
●Interference with a law enforcement officer
●Disorderly conduct
