WICHITA - Kansas Wesleyan's Collin Phelps has been named as the KCAC Men's Tennis Player of the Week for his accomplishments over the last week. Student-athletes were selected for their performances from Feb. 10-16 by a vote of conference sports information directors. All KCAC Player of the Week honors are presented by Equity Bank.
Phelps made his return to the court after a lengthy layoff due to injuries and led the Coyotes to a 4-3 win over Baker on Sunday. With the match tied 3-3 Phelps stepped on the court and beat Carlos Alcala 7-5, 6-1 to secure the match win for the Coyotes.
