The Friends of the Salina Public Library has scheduled a drive-up collection for next week.

The organization will be collecting the following items from 1-4 p.m. May 21 at the library, 301 W. Elm Street.

●Gently used fiction and non-fiction books for adults and children

●Textbooks and travel books less than three years old

●Audiobooks, music CDs, movie DVDs, and video games

No encyclopedias, magazines, VHS tapes, or homemade recordings can be accepted, according to information from the organization.

Persons wishing to donate items to the Friends of the Salina Public Library for future used book sales can drive up to the front of the library and volunteers will unload the items being donated.

All proceeds from the Friends of the Salina Public Library's used book sales go directly to support programs and activities of the Salina Public Library.
