John Terence (JT) Williams, 60 of Ransom, KS passed away peacefully in his home Saturday June 14, 2024. John was born on October 10, 1964, in Salina Ks to John H and Janice R Williams. He was the oldest of his two siblings.
John is survived by his son Ray John (RJ) Williams, of Des Moines, IA. His mother Janice Galvez (Arturo Galvez); brother Jeff Williams (Desiree Williams) of Phoenix AZ; sister Teri Williams of Springfield MO, along with niece, nephew, Aunts, Uncles and many beloved friends in his community.
John is preceded in death by his father John Henry Williams and Grandmother Velma Diehl.
JT thoroughly enjoyed cooking at his restaurant the South Side Diner and loved the community it afforded him. In his spare time, he enjoyed being outdoors in nature, taking amazing pictures, playing his flute or learning a tune on his guitar. John had an artistic and creative spirit that made him a natural at preparing amazing meals, learning a musical instrument or writing a well written poem or story. John was a devoted son to his mother Janice and enjoyed spending time visiting with her and sharing thoughts on health and nutrition. He enjoyed spending time with his beloved dogs Ebby and Zeek.
A visitation will be held from 4-6 p.m. on Sunday, June 23, 2024, at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N 8th St, Salina, with family present from 4-6 p.m.
There will be a graveside service at Prairie Mound Cemetery, 2990-2996 Ave A, Brookville, KS 67425 on Monday, June 24, 2024.
Memorials may be made to Ryan Mortuary to assist with expenses.
