Police are lookng for a red passenger car believed to have caused a four-car pile-up in south Salina Saturday evening.

Salina Police Captain Paul Forrester said this morning that at approximately 6 p.m. Saturday, a northbound red passenger car rear-ended a 2013 Nissan Sentra driven by Kurt Lang, 33, of Salina, at the intersection of S. Ninth Street/W. Magnolia Road.

The impact forced the Sentra into the back of a 2001 Toyota Camry driven by Seth Chrisman, 35, of Minneapolis, causing the Camry to strike the rear of a 2007 Dodge Nitro driven by Jamie Aldridge, 33, of Salina.

The red passenger car then fled the scene, driving east on Magnolia Road, Forrester said.

No one who remained at the scene was injured, including three passengers in the Nitro: a 56-year-old woman, a 32-year-old woman, and a 7-8 month old boy, Forrester said.

All three of the vehicles that remained, while damaged, were able to be removed by their drivers, he added.
