The Market Shop in Salina has started a gofundme for Misty-Claussen-Train, after she was diagnosed with cancer.

Claussen-Train is from Salina and is an employee at The Market Shop (101 S. Sante Fe), who has worked there for 17 years.

The following is a statement from Misty Claussen-Train:

I was diagnosed with cancer so I'm suddenly facing a major medical surgery that will be life altering possibly disfiguring. I do have medical insurance however it's not covering everything.

I'm looking at months of recovery and therapy. It is very difficult to reach out like this for help. I will not be able to work and I've worked and supported myself all of my life.

I'm out of time and out of options.

If you can help I will be forever grateful & the funds will be used carefully to hopefully get me through this difficult surgery and recovery so I can get back to work.
