Betty J. Huffman was born on October 8, 1925 in Simpson, Kansas, the daughter of William L. and Susie B. Reeves Huffman. She died Thursday, December 17, 2020 at Hilltop Lodge in Beloit, Kansas at the age of 95.

Betty grew up and attended and graduated high school before heading to Kansas University, where she earned her bachelor's degree. From there, she was a lifelong KU fan and always enjoyed following basketball and football games.

For many years, she worked as a medical technologist. She was very "tech-savvy" and always had great interest in the newest phones.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, and she is survived by many friends.

Per her wishes, cremation was chosen and she did not wish to have any services. Memorials may be given to Solomon Valley Hospice or Hilltop Lodge.
