Salina man accused of robbing another man at gunpoint on Saturday morning.
According to the Salina Police Department (SPD) on April 11 at around 10:00 am, an officer on patrol discovered a 65-year old male was profusely bleeding on his face in the 400 block of S. Broadway.
The officer approached the man and learned he was robbed at gunpoint.
Reportedly, the victim was in the process of purchasing a vehicle from Calvin Frenzley (33). The victim stated Frenzley forcibly robbed the man of over $1,000.
Furthermore, SPD confirmed Frenzley was armed.
Officers made contact with Frenzley shortly after, and took him into custody.
SPD stated that when Frenzley was being interviewed inside their interrogation room, he reportedly destroyed a table and barricaded himself.
Subsequently, officers were able to arrest and book him into the Saline County Jail.
He was booked for the requested charges of Aggravated Robbery, Aggravated Battery, Criminal Threat, Criminal Possession of a Weapon, Interference with Law Enforcement and Battery of Law Enforcement.
