MANHATTAN, Kansas - (9/12) K-State (5-1) will conclude action at the 2024 Ball Dawgs Classic in Henderson, Nevada, on Wednesday. The Wildcats face DePaul (2-4) at 1 p.m. (CT).

1. Mittie a Win Shy of 650

• With K-State’s next win, head coach Jeff Mittie will collect the 650th win of his 33-season head coaching career (649-371, .636 | 195, K-State; 303; TCU; 75, Arkansas State; 76, Missouri Western). He would be the 10th active NCAA Division I head coach with 650 or more wins.

2. Viva Las Vegas

• This is K-State’s sixth trip to the Las Vegas-area for a multi-team event and first since the 2017-18 season (South Point Thanksgiving Shootout). K-State is 7-7 in its five previous appearances in a multi-team event in Las Vegas.

3. Lee on Cusp of Scoring Record

• Senior center and 2024-25 Preseason Big 12 Player of the Year Ayoka Lee needs 48 points (2,286 points) to pass Kendra Wecker (2001-05; 2,333 points) for the K-State career scoring record.

4. Sundell into Top-15 For Points

• Senior guard and All-America candidate Serena Sundell climbed into the top-15 of K-State’s career scoring list, as she ranks 15th with 1,328 points. She is the first player in program history to rank in the top-15 for career scoring and top-5 for career assists.

• K-State has put pressure on the interior of defenses this season. The Wildcats are averaging 47.0 points per game in the paint and have held the advantage in points in the paint in all six games this season. K-State has scored 40 or more points in the paint in all six games including two games with 50 or more with a season-high of 56 against Milwaukee on Nov. 20.
