Doris Chloe McCall, 100, of New Cambria, Kansas, passed away peacefully at her home, Thursday, October 3.
Doris was born in Clyde, Kansas on January 3, 1924, to Vesta "Resco" and Paul Stolzenburg.
Doris and Robert were married in Concordia, Kansas on May 7th, 1942. She later received her Food Service Director Certificate and worked at Windsor Estates for several years.
In her free time, Doris loved to travel, crochet, and complete crosswords. Her family was her number one priority and she was always there for them when needed.
Doris is survived by two daughters, Tammy Lewis (Larry), of Meriden, Kansas; Tyra Farris (Lonnie), of Webb City, Missouri; and a son, Bob McCall (Ann), of New Cambria, Kansas.
She is also survived by grandchildren, Stephan McCall (Kim), Shilind Wheaton, Misty Hill (Matt), Wendy Bohachick (Matt), Curtis Farris (Charlotte); 8 great grandchildren.
Doris is preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother, Eldon Stolzenburg; infant brother, Max Stolzenburg; and sisters, Keta Hiner, Elaine Smith, and Lois Shotwell.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 9th, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home in Salina, Kansas.
A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, October 10th, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Carlson - Geisendorf Funeral Home with Pastor Eric Meyer officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Interim Hospice and the Alzheimer's and Dementia Association in care of the funeral home.
