DICKINSON COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just before 5:30a.m. Wednesday in Dickinson County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2023 International semi driven by Travis P. Williams, 23, Wellington, was westbound on Interstate 70 one and one half miles west of Fair Road.
The semi rear-ended a 2011 Chevy Cruze driven by Koy E Mueller, 19, Herington, who was stopped in the right lane.
EMS transported Mueller to Wesley Medical Center. Williams was not injured. Mueller was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
