A Salina smoke was reportedly burglarized on Monday morning.
According to the Salina Police Department (SPD) on July 13 at around 9:20 am, employees of VIP Smoke Shop (2018 S. 9th) reported a burglary.
Employees said that after arriving to the building, they observed numerous items scattered across the floor and determined a burglary had occurred.
During the investigation, forced entry was determined to have occurred at the rear of the business.
The business reported a variety of vapes, tobacco products, and pipes stolen from the business.
Numerous items were then located several businesses away, and approximately $6,000 in items were recovered.
However, it was estimated that just over $9,000 worth of items are still missing.
The case is still under investigation.
