The results are in and the 2021 Salina Souperbowl of Hope was a decisive winner!
The annual effort to collect cans of soup for local non-profits exceeded its goal of 55,000 cans, according to information from the organization. It is the ninth time the group has exceeded its goal.
More than 30 Salina churches and several businesses were among those involved in the effort.
The soup will be distributed among the Salina Emergency Aid Food Bank, Salina Salvation Army, Salina Rescue Mission, Ashby House, and DVACK.
"We thank everyone for their donations and volunteer labors and look forward to next year," the group noted.
