Police are investigating a vehicle burglary in east Salina that resulted in a more than $400 loss for the owner.
A 25-year-old Salina woman told police that sometime between 8:30 p.m. Saturday and 8:30 a.m. Sunday, someone entered her unlocked vehicle and stole a Coach purse valued at $400, Salina Police Captain Gary Hanus said this morning. Inside the purse were multiple financial cards and personal information documents, he said.
Police are checking for surveillance video in the area. Additionally, they are monitoring electronic data that would indicate that the stolen financial cards are being used, Hanus said.
