PROSPER, Texas - Kansas Wesleyan Men's Golf finished in ninth place at the Texas Invitational hosted by Friends University on Monday and Tuesday at Gentle Creek Golf Course.
KWU finished with a team score of 932 in the tournament, two shots ahead of Midland in the field.
Hank Reeg led the Coyotes with a 230, finishing tied for 30th. Jackson Malone finished 33rd with a 231, Tyler Tarvin tied for 39th with a 235, Joey Wisocki tied for 44th with a 237 and Doak Neill was 54th with a 245.
Oklahoma City University cruised to a win in the tournament, finishing with a score of 845, 19-under par. The Stars were 38 shots better than Friends in second. Wayland Baptist was third in 886, Mount Mercy was fourth with 888 and Grand View was fifth with 906 to round out the top five teams.
