McPherson County reports 1 new case of COVID-19, case stats

MCPHERSON -- McPherson County has reported one new confirmed case of COVID-19, bringing the county total to 178.

The newest case is a symptomatic female in her 30s with unknown exposure and is recovering at home, according to the health department.

The health department also provided the following data about the county's confirmed cases.

●Asymptomatic cases: 18

●Cases with unknown exposure: 65

●Cases 60 years old and above: 41

●Cases 50-59 years old: 24

●Cases 40-49 years old: 24

●Cases 30-39 years old: 24

●Cases 18-29 years old: 48

●Cases under 18 years old: 17

●Female cases: 103

●Male cases: 75

●Hospitalized cases (may not represent current hospitalizations): 10

●Ventilated cases (may not represent current ventilated cases): 4

●Deaths: 1

Additionally, the health department continues to investigate an exposure at the Ol Stuga, 119 South Main Street in Lindsborg. If you were at the Ol Stuga on Aug. 13 or Saturday from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m., you may have been exposed to COVID-19 and require a 14-day quarantine.
