Dorothy Evelyn Duncan, a private and cherished soul, passed away peacefully at the age of 86 on Tuesday, October 1, 2024.
Born in Temple, Texas on February 10,1938.
She devoted her life to raising her twin daughters, Darcy Busch(husband, Tim), daughter, Marcy Ramsey (husband, Bob) and her son, Scott Duncan (wife, Kathy) & and the youngest daughter, Michelle Chora( husband, Procoro). Dorothy was blessed with 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents: Paul and Jimmie (McDowell) Alman and her brother: Paul Jr.
Dorothy spent 25 years in the hospital food service industry, both at Scott City hospital, and Asbury in Salina, and retiring from Asbury.
A passionate fan of Elvis Presley, his music provided her with comfort and joy, reflecting a side of her spirit that resonated deeply with those who knew her.
Dorothy will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 12th at 11:00AM in the Ray Ave Baptist Church; 2801 Ray Ave, Salina, KS 67401.
